Dr. Beswick was born and raised in Oklahoma.  She attended Abilene Christian University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry.  She was also chosen as a University Scholar, one of the top 50 graduates honored for excellence in academic, service, and leadership pursuits.  She then received her MD, PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.  Her PhD is in Molecular Biophysics with her research interests focused on formulating medicines to help 3rd world diseases.  She stayed in Dallas 1 year after graduating to complete a year in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern.  After that, she returned to her native Oklahoma to complete her dermatology residency at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.  She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.  In her spare time, Dr. Beswick enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, gardening, and exercising.
